Join the Office of the Deputy Director General as a Business Support Officer (AO4) and support the infrastructure group to deliver outcomes that matter for Queensland. Using your strengths in collaboration, system thinking, governance and relationship building, you will provide high quality business support across human resources, finance, procurement, records management and travel. You’ll coordinate requests, manage mailboxes, support approvals, and contribute to continuous improvement of business processes. Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Provide high quality business support to ensure the efficient operation of the Infrastructure group, including coordination of HR requests, finance, procurement, travel and records management.
• Work collaboratively within the Office of the Deputy Director General to support team members and broader group operations.
• Manage and monitor the Business Support Unit mailbox, ensuring all requests are actioned promptly.
• Coordinate internal business requests for approval, ensuring appropriate delegations, documentation and timeframes are met.
• Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Finance and Queensland Shared Services.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve administrative systems and services.
• Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
