Principal Advisor (Stakeholder & Approvals)

The Wave – Stage 1 and 2 (Rail), is a generational infrastructure project that will revolutionise travel for the Sunshine Coast region, creating a seamless public transport network for the region. The Wave will deliver heavy passenger rail from Beerwah to Birtinya, and metro-style vehicles will provide links between Birtinya, Mountain Creek, Maroochydore CBD and the Sunshine Coast Airport.
The Wave is a mega-project, with $5.5 billion committed towards delivery of heavy passenger rail to Caloundra that will help shape the region and unlock new housing and economic opportunities. The project is now in the pre-delivery phase, with procurement underway and construction activities expected to commence late 2026, subject to approvals. In March 2025, the Queensland Government committed to delivery of The Wave Stage 2, which includes rail from Caloundra to Birtinya.

The Opportunity
In the role of Principal Advisor (Stakeholder and Approvals) you will provide high level stakeholder and planning coordination to ensure consistent, timely, cost effective and high quality delivery of The Wave (Rail).
You will contribute technical advice and assist with coordinating across the property, commercial, and planning approvals, communications and engagement functions to support effective approvals and stakeholder outcomes.
You will model behaviours and attitudes aligned with TMR's values and contribute to a positive team culture, meeting of team and personal accountability expectations, and modelling the standards of professional behaviour.
