An AO6 Senior Learning & Development Officer vacancy is available in the Workforce & Client Experience Division of the Queensland Revenue Office.

The Learning and Development (L&D) Team lead continuous learning within a legislative environment as we design, develop, procure, and deliver L&D solutions for individual, group, and enterprise application.

The position is based in our Brisbane office with flexible work options available and access to professional growth pathways.

Your typical day as a Senior Learning & Development Officer may include:

  • Leading and coaching a small team to deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Collaborating with peers across the wider L&D team to plan team priorities, share expertise, support key strategic initiatives, and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
  • Consulting with stakeholders to identify learning needs and design solutions that build capability across the organisation.
  • Developing learning materials and facilitating programs that are practical, engaging and outcomes focused.
  • Reviewing data, feedback and evaluation results to continuously improve learning programs and approaches.
  • Adapting to shifting priorities and supporting change in a dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Substantial experience in an L&D or adult education environment.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, facilitation methods, adult, applied and inclusive learning principles in producing L&D solutions through a variety of media and modes of delivery.
  • Intermediate skill using the Microsoft Office suite (required), e-learning platforms (required), Adobe suite (desirable), and Microsoft power platform (desirable).
