About the role
We're seeking a skilled Manager (Program) (AO8) to join the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program - Program Management Office (BHTSP PMO). Based in Brisbane CBD (or other TMR locations by negotiation), this is your opportunity to make a lasting contribution to Queensland's transport infrastructure.
As Manager (Program), you will:
Oversee and coordinate the physical and financial performance reporting for the $9 billion BHTSP.
Provide performance analysis and advice to senior managers and the Minister's Office.
Manage a range of business support functions such as HR, procurement, finance reporting, document control, and meeting coordination.
Contribute to the development of program controls, governance, and reporting procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance obligations, workplace health and safety requirements, and legislative standards.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating to achieve program goals.

What you'll bring
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills across government and/or industry sectors to drive positive outcomes.
Advanced data analysis and report development skills, with the ability to present complex data in an accessible format.
High proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL, with knowledge of integrating SharePoint with PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience in a capital infrastructure reporting environment and sound knowledge of project and program controls functions.
A proactive approach to embracing change and fostering creativity to lead initiatives effectively.
A commitment to compliance with corporate governance, safety standards, and legislation.
A criminal history check will be required prior to appointment.
