Senior Correspondence Officer

Join the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division as a Senior Correspondence Officer and support delivery of the Queensland Government’s commitments under the 2032 Delivery Plan. Using your strengths in written communication, sound judgment, governance and stakeholder engagement, you will coordinate and quality‑assure ministerial, executive, Cabinet and Parliamentary correspondence. You’ll manage workflows, provide guidance on correspondence standards and processes, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of briefing and reporting practices. Your Opportunity
This role sits within the Portfolio Coordination Office and provides expert coordination, oversight and quality assurance of correspondence and briefing processes for the division. You will work closely with senior officers, executive teams and central agencies to ensure information is accurate, timely, fit for purpose and compliant with government standards. Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Coordinate the preparation, management and reporting of executive, ministerial, Parliamentary and Cabinet correspondence and briefing materials.
• Oversee and manage correspondence workflows, providing guidance and advice on prioritisation, processing and standards.
• Provide high level quality assurance of sensitive and complex correspondence in line with style requirements, privacy legislation and internal processes.
• Support divisional staff by providing advice, feedback and direction on correspondence systems, protocols and expectations.
• Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service standards are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing correspondence processes, guides and templates and identifying enhancement opportunities.
• Actively participate as a team member within the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division, supporting a positive, collaborative culture.
