The Community Corrections Command is responsible for supervising adult offenders in the community. Community Corrections is divided into seven regions, each with several district offices and reporting centres. In addition to the seven regions, Community Corrections is responsible for managing offenders under the Dangerous Prisoners and Sex Offenders Act. The Electronic Monitoring and Precinct Management Unit (EMPMU) is responsible for the coordination of the Agency’s statewide GPS Monitoring programs and management of the contingency accommodation precinct across the state and consists of the following work units;
•Electronic Monitoring and Surveillance Unit (EMSU) - responsible for QCS’s electronic monitoring capability and service delivery.
•Precinct Management Unit (PMU) – responsible management of Dangerous Prisoners (Sex Offenders) Act contingency accommodation precincts

The essential requirements for this role are:
• Experience in, and understanding of, supervision and surveillance practices in a human services or related field
• Experience in supervising a small team and developing operational rosters
• Experience in a criminal justice environment or similar human services, regulatory agency
• Ability to engage with community groups and/or external services providers
• Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Demonstrated knowledge, interpretation and application of legislation, policies and procedure
