Office Of The Deputy Commissioner Custodial Operations; Custodial Operations; Brisbane
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner (ODC) is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a small team responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the Deputy Commissioner, Custodial Operations.
The Strategic and Executive Command (SEC) provides high-level, strategic, and operational support to the Senior Executive leadership of the Custodial Operations division.
The SEC works closely with key internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, the Office of the Commissioner, the Offices of the Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners, Custodial Operations, Operational Support, Specialist Operations and People Capability Command.
This is a temporary opportunity while the substantive is on parental leave.

About the Role
In this role, you will ensure all Ministerial, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Executive correspondence for Custodial Operations is of a high standard and processed within specified timeframes. You will also provide the Deputy Commissioner, Custodial Operations, with high‑level briefings on complex and business‑critical information.
Role Suitability

Within the context of the accountabilities outlined in About the Role, the most suitable applicant will demonstrate applied knowledge, skills, and experience aligned with the essential requirements of the Individual Contributor leadership stream.
Other Conditions and Requirements
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications for this position, there may be occasions where the successful applicant is required to work outside standard hours, travel to other locations, or temporarily perform duties from an alternate work site.
