About your role
As the Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer within the lead-agency for the ICT category of procurement, you will collaborate with ICT buyers and suppliers to achieve high quality outcomes through common use supply arrangements (CUSA) and contracts for common ICT solutions.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Establish CUSAs and/or contracts for whole-of-government ICT solutions including
- market research and analysis including stakeholder consultation,
- drafting sourcing documentation,
- evaluating tenders,
- negotiate commercials with multiple suppliers,
- preparing contracts and arrangements for execution using QITC terms and conditions,
in accordance with Queensland Procurement Policy, the ICT Category Strategy, and other relevant policies, including ICT specific governance and investment processes
- Manage CUSAs in accordance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and associated contract management frameworks, including
- preparing variations and extension reports, including stakeholder consultation,
- obtaining, analysing and summarising supplier reporting and data insights,
- prepare and maintain buyers' guides, fact sheets and other supporting artefacts for CUSA,
- chair and minute regular supplier management meetings,
- maintain internal and external systems supporting contract and arrangement management, including VendorPanel and Queensland Government Arrangements Directory
- Provide proactive and timely customer focused support and advice to Queensland Government and industry stakeholders through a range of communication channels, with a goal of maturing ICT buyer capability across the sector.
- Proactively identify and contribute to continuous improvement activities and streamlining internal and category-lead processes and pursue alignment and improvements to Queensland Government strategies and policies including investment, cyber security, AI and governance.
