The Role:
The team provides expert engineering, project management and infrastructure advisory services to Local Government Division, local governments and other stakeholders. This includes supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure funding programs, responding to the critical infrastructure needs of local governments and enhancing asset management capability across the sector. Your role will be to project manage and provide technical support within the Engineering and Project Services team.

Key Accountabilities:
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of critical infrastructure programs and projects across Queensland.
Provide engineering and project advice to the department, councils and other stakeholders.
Oversee water, wastewater and solid waste projects, administer infrastructure grants, and deliver work to agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards and legislative requirements.
Build strong working relationships across the division and with community stakeholders, and prepare high-quality briefs, correspondence and reports.

About You:
You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience.
You bring strong engineering, contract and project management capability, clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, construction or operations is highly desirable.
You are organised, adaptable and committed to safe, inclusive and high-quality service delivery. Travel may be required, including overnight stays.
RPEQ registration is advantageous.
