The Service Centre Operations team provides frontline customer service to the Queensland community through phone, online and in‑person channels, delivering essential government services such as licensing, registration and related products.
What you'll be doing
• Conduct practical driving assessments to determine the competency of applicants across all classes of Queensland driver licence
• Assess whether applicants meet legislative, policy and safety requirements to be granted a driver licence
• Consult, liaise and provide advice to stakeholders on driver licence assessment and road safety matters
• Prepare accurate, clear written reports for the Senior Advisor (Driver Assessment) when required
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of licensing services by recording and maintaining customer and service information across relevant computer systems
• Keep your knowledge current in relation to industry standards, policies and product safety relevant to driver licence assessment
• Contribute to the effective operation of the Customer Service Centre by working collaboratively to achieve individual and team performance targets
• Support team capability through participation in team activities and, where required, provide training and mentoring to less experienced Driving Examiners in systems, services and products
