The candidate will lead and oversee assurance projects to ensure operational compliance with regulatory requirements, alignment with strategic protocols, and efficient resource utilisation. They will play a key role in developing and implementing best-practice frameworks, policies, and procedures to enhance business processes and service delivery. Additionally, the candidate will provide expert advice, manage staff, and ensure project outputs are delivered effectively while supporting continuous improvement and risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities -
• Lead Assurance Projects: Oversee assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, alignment with strategic protocols, and efficient resource utilisation.
• Develop and Implement Best-Practice Frameworks: Create and improve tools, processes, and standards for the Assurance portfolio to drive consistency, transparency, and alignment with organisational and Queensland Government priorities.
• Prepare and Oversee Key Documentation: Manage the preparation of reports, project proposals, procurement plans, and briefing notes to maximise the quality of operational systems, processes, and service delivery.

You may also have
• While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, relevant tertiary qualifications, skills, or, experience in implementing an assurance framework in a large and diverse organisation, and the ability to write high quality briefing notes, reports, and presentations, would be well regarded.
