The candidate will play a key role in providing high-level advice on the operational implications of policy and legislative changes, supervising staff to ensure the effective delivery of outputs, and supporting management in achieving operational outcomes and targets. They will also contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes, manage resources strategically, and prepare high-quality documentation to inform decision-making. Additionally, the candidate will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to represent the operational area and ensure alignment with program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and Support Staff: Allocate work assignments, set priorities, track progress, and ensure staff are trained in and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Provide High-Level Advice and Recommendations: Analyse and evaluate operational implications of policy and legislative changes, and suggest improvements to enhance business outcomes.
• Prepare Documentation and Reports: Develop high-quality reports and briefings to support management decision-making and ensure alignment with program objectives.
What we are looking for (qualifications, registrations, experience)
• A current “C” class drivers' licence.
