Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping Queensland’s vocational education and training (VET) system? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join the Office of the Public Provider Partnerships, where you will help drive the performance and accountability of the State’s public VET providers.
In this role, you will contribute to the contracting and performance framework for Queensland’s public VET providers, ensuring that government investment delivers high-quality training aligned with the evolving needs of individuals, businesses, and the Queensland economy.

As the Principal Advisor, VET Contracts and Performance, you will
· Support the review, analysis, and monitoring of financial and operational reporting for Queensland's public VET providers.
· Provide considered advice and prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence on complex issues impacting VET and public providers.
· Analyse financial and performance data to identify trends, assess sustainability, and inform strategic decision-making.
· Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with governance and performance frameworks.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration, consultation, and negotiation.

The position requires an applicant who can:
· Communicate effectively, with strong written and verbal skills to prepare highquality reports, briefings, and advice on complex issues.
· Analyse financial data, performance reports, and trends to provide strategic and actionable insights.
· Monitor and guide projects or contracts, ensuring progress is maintained and results are delivered in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrate attention to detail and provide sound advice on policy, financial, and performance information.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, using excellent consultation and negotiation skills.
