As an Assistant Advisor within the Central Recruitment Team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Development Programs. You will contribute to the success of programs such as Yarn & Grow and Walk With Us by providing high-quality administrative, operational, and stakeholder support. Your work will ensure the smooth coordination of program activities, efficient management of resources, and the delivery of meaningful outcomes for participants.
This role requires a proactive and organised individual who is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce development initiatives.
You will work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and contribute to improving processes and systems to enhance program delivery.

As an Assistant Advisor you will:
• Provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to assist in the delivery of the various workforce and organisational programs.
• Act as the first point of contact for various workforce and organisational programs, participants, stakeholders, and external partners, providing accurate and timely information via phone, email, and in person.
• Undertake a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including data collation, maintaining program trackers, and coordinating activities associated with program delivery.
• Develop and maintain accurate and effective office and information systems, including database management, room and facility bookings, catering arrangements, inventory tracking, and shared mailbox organisation.
• Support the Senior Advisor in the delivery of workshops and events, including coordinating logistics, managing attendance, and ensuring all resources are prepared and available.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify needs and provide enhanced administrative support services that improve program delivery and outcomes.
• Work autonomously to meet deadlines, establish work priorities, and coordinate within the team to ensure efficient processes are maintained.
• Demonstrate a high level of initiative, organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting priorities.
• Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and program materials, including participant certificates, guest speaker invitations, and workshop content.
• Participate in program evaluation activities, including collating and analysing participant feedback to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel across Queensland as required to assist the facilitator in conducting workshops and events for the Yarn & Grow and Walk With Us programs.
• Contribute to a cohesive and high-performing team environment where collaboration and innovation are encouraged.
