At Dakabin State High School, we focus on providing rich and engaging learning experiences that enable students to learn, grow, and achieve while maintaining high academic standards. Set across 60 acres of native bushland, our school offers diverse resources and signature programs, including our Basketball Academy. Our staff work collaboratively within strong faculty teams to deliver consistent curriculum and build positive relationships with students. We are seeking educators who bring strong curriculum knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to student-centred practice.
Current Opportunities:
- Science / Science in Practice – Years 7–12 (Temporary 05/05/26 - 18/09/26)
- This role will see the successful applicant join the Science faculty, supporting Dakabin State High School students to engage and succeed in this vital learning area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong growth mindset, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and the capacity to build positive connections with students and staff. The ability to effectively engage and connect with students is essential.
- Music / Music in Practice – Years 8–12 (Permanent)
- This role involves delivering engaging Music programs across junior and senior secondary, supporting students in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject. The successful applicant will demonstrate creativity, strong classroom practice, and a willingness to contribute to the school's co-curricular music opportunities.
