You will also play a key part in reviewing and implementing workforce policies, frameworks and initiatives. *Your responsibilities*
As the Principal Advisor, Workplace Relations, you will
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex workplace relations matters, including industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, grievances, performance and conduct, discipline and appeals.
- Review, implement and maintain workforce policies, frameworks, and initiatives related to employee and industrial relations.
- Mentor and build capability within human resources and for CDSB managers to enhance understanding and effective management of workplace relations matters.
- Represent the department in stakeholder engagements, prepare high-level correspondence, monitor compliance, and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
*What we are looking for?*
The position requires an applicant who can demonstrate
- Thorough knowledge and experience in employee relations and/or industrial relations, with particular expertise in relation to Queensland public sector legislative and policy frameworks.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively when resolving workplace relations issues.
- Proven ability to interpret and implement Queensland legislation relating to employee or industrial relations.
