As Principal Program Officer in the Destination 2045 Governance team, you'll work at the strategic helm, shaping governance frameworks, driving collaboration, and propelling the ambitions of this sweeping 20-year plan.
At its core, this role isn't just about driving outcomes; it's about building partnerships, solving challenges, and weaving together the ideas, perspectives, and priorities of diverse stakeholders to achieve a singular goal: ensuring Queensland remains Australia's top tourist destination.
What You'll Do:
- Lead with purpose: Chart the course for governance and oversight by driving the Tourism Cabinet Committee and Interdepartmental Committee, shaping agendas, and ensuring strategic decision-making.
- Create frameworks for success: Build efficient governance systems and reporting processes to monitor the progress and impacts of Destination 2045.
- Champion collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a unified effort around delivery goals.
- Play the long game: Align committee agendas with broader goals, anticipate challenges, and provide insights to support evidence-based decisions.
- Bring clarity to complexity: Transform data into actionable reports and dashboards that evaluate and communicate the progress of Destination 2045.
