Your opportunity
•    manage a team that develops and implements communication and marketing outputs (internal and external facing, strategies and plans, public information in an emergency response, awareness, education and behaviour change campaigns, events, sponsorships and creative services including graphic design and audio visual production)  
•    drive collaboration and opportunities with key stakeholders including across the business, broader Queensland Government and industry 
•    demonstrate and reward performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes, in a positive work environment, and a culture of customer focus 
•    support the direction and priorities of the department by providing contemporary strategic communication and marketing advice, opportunities and solutions to senior leaders 
•    oversee departmental communication and marketing outputs that are audience centric and measurable, and comply with corporate governance processes, whole of-government policies and national crisis planning and regulatory requirements 
•    work collaboratively, as part of the communication and engagement leadership team, on shared goals
