About the role
As a Team Leader Trust Compliance, you will play a key role leading a geographically dispersed team delivering complex financial audits and investigations. You will provide direction, oversight and quality assurance across compliance activities, ensuring lawful, consistent use of compulsory and voluntary regulatory powers. You will interpret and apply the QBCC and Building Industry Fairness Acts to real-world cases and oversee case management, including disciplinary actions, prosecutions and enforcement activities.

This position is based in Brisbane CBD and flexible work arrangements can be considered upon application, including working remotely at a regional QBCC office (subject to availability).
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in financial audits and/or investigations
- Working knowledge of the QBCC Act and Building Industry Fairness Act (or similar)
- Leadership experience in a compliance, audit or investigations environment
The following will be highly regarded:
- Experience using artificial intelligence in audits and/or investigations
- Experience in construction or similarly regulated industries
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent)
