Join the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division as Director, Major Stadia and Precinct Planning and lead planning and coordination for landmark Games precincts and venues. Using your strengths in strategic leadership, master planning, governance and stakeholder management, you will drive precinct planning for major stadia, oversee project assurance, and coordinate whole‑of‑government delivery across the Victoria Park precinct.
Working with senior partners across government and industry, you’ll provide high‑quality advice, manage risk, track delivery milestones, and ensure projects meet government expectations and deliver lasting legacy outcomes for Queensland.

Your Opportunity
You will be a senior leader within the Venues Program team, responsible for precinct level planning, coordination and assurance for major stadia and associated infrastructure. Working closely with the Games Independent Infrastructure Coordination Authority (GIICA), Brisbane 2032, the Australian Government and delivery partners, you will provide strategic oversight, ensure alignment with government priorities and support delivery of the commitments set out in the 2032 Delivery Plan.
A key focus of the role is leading whole of government coordination and master planning for the Victoria Park precinct, including the Brisbane Stadium, National Aquatic Centre and Brisbane Athletes Village, ensuring projects are delivered on time, manage risk effectively and achieve strong legacy outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Lead development and coordination of precinct planning for major stadia and associated Games infrastructure.
• Provide strategic whole of government leadership for entities delivering projects within the Victoria Park precinct.
• Oversee major project assurance activities, including review of investment proposals, project documentation and risk assessments.
• Coordinate across government and Games delivery partners to ensure alignment of governance, stakeholder engagement and project outcomes.
• Prepare high quality briefings, reports, submissions and advice for senior executives and government.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders across all levels of government and industry.
• Provide positive and strategic leadership to team members, supporting capability development, performance management and engagement.
