We’re looking for a results-driven individual who is passionate, positive, and dedicated as a key member of the team providing effective administrative support.
You will undertake work across a broad range of service delivery activities related to employment and training initiatives. You will be involved with range of programs, projects, and events that support the implementation of government and departmental initiatives in the region.

As the Client Service Officer, you will
• Provide accurate information, advice, and service delivery to stakeholders of Queensland's vocational education and training system on the full range of departmental programs and activities
• Undertake a range of activities to support programs including marketing programs and services, conducting stakeholder and participant interviews, field / workplace visits, surveys, data entry and the interpretation and application of legislation and departmental policies and procedures
• Assist with the monitoring of projects, programs, processes, and activities, including undertaking basic research and analysis of projects, programs, processes and activities to achieve performance benchmarks and organisational objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve existing work instructions, processes and procedures for training and employment projects and programs through the utilisation of innovation and problem-solving skills.
What we are looking for
The position requires an applicant who can:
• Sound knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of departmental programs and services delivered through regional offices, including targeted programs to increase participation in training and skilling, application of administrative processes, procedures and legislative provisions
• Ability to work effectively either independently and / or in a team environment, organise and prioritise work commitments, meet deadlines, share information, and support colleagues
• Sound organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise judgement within established work practices and procedures
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills, interview skills, written communication skills, as well as liaison and negotiation skills, to enable effective interaction with individuals, groups, internal and external stakeholders.
