Technical Project Coordinator

The Technical Project Coordinator is responsible for the provision of technical advisory and support services within the ICT Capital Works unit. Reporting to the Manager Capital Works, the role will develop, implement, coordinate and maintain a range of technical designs and work packages that further supports the delivery of major ICT Capital Works projects.
In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Technical Project Coordinator will actively contribute to the achievement of quality end user outcomes, ensuring services align with organisational objectives that improve QAS's operational environment.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- High-level technical knowledge, understanding and experience in ICT technical networking, telephony and radio infrastructure environments, supporting server infrastructure, databases, end user devices, applications, information security and solution development frameworks and methods.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform autonomously in a high-pressure and demanding environment while coordinating a number of competing priorities and timeframes.
- Proven experience in providing onsite technical support and compliance, while liaising with vendors and performing configuration of multiple technologies to ensure successful implementation.
- Well-developed relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise, consult and negotiate with influence across a broad range of clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Australian standards utilised in supporting information technology infrastructure.
- Highly developed conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills including a demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data with a high level of attention to detail.
Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements:
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Applicants must have a minimum of a diploma level qualification in Electronics; or Communications; or equivalent qualifications.
- Whilst not mandatory, five (5) years of experience working in Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications and experience with and/or knowledge of software/system practices, tools and techniques in applications such as AutoCAD, TurboCAD and Microsoft Visio or similar would be highly desirable.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain an Australian Cabler Registration Service (ACRS) Master Cable Licence or similar.
- Position may require participation in interstate travel when required.
- Applicants are required to hold an open Queensland “C” Class Driver's Licence.
