Administration Officer
Southern Parks & Forests Regional Operations; Management & Operations; Queensland Parks & Wildlife Services & Partnerships; Roma or Charleville
The purpose of this role is to manage a range of administrative, financial support and human resource services for a team that’s primary function is to manage national parks and state forests activities on Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P) Estate in the West area. The role maintains databases and other information systems, undertakes record management duties, and assists in organising events. The role fields routine enquiries from proponents, team members and senior staff on the progress of applications and maintains and updates templates and prepares correspondence as required.

The Ideal Candidate:
· Displays knowledge in contemporary public sector administration, finance, information management and human resource principles, practises and associated support systems.
· Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly develop proficiency in, departmental databases, document management systems, and relevant computer software required for the role.
· Exhibits strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks with precision.
· Ability to support and share skills with a diverse group of people.
