In the role of Project Support Officer, you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Deliver administrative support to stakeholders, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, within established deadlines, and in alignment with agreed standards.
* Assist project managers with administrative tasks to facilitate the successful delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), ensuring compliance with deadlines and legislative requirements.
* Perform fleet management responsibilities as directed, including coordinating with regional staff on vehicle replacements, organising external vehicle hire, and managing home garaging reports.
* Manage travel-related tasks, including handling enquiries, bookings, and associated arrangements through internal travel systems, while ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support, including organising team meetings, preparing and distributing minutes, managing documents and reports, maintaining spreadsheets and registers, and delivering timely updates, information, and presentations as required.
* Utilise advanced computer software skills to provide high-level administrative support, including expert advice and assistance in preparing and formatting documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office and other applications.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
* A current Class ‘C' Drivers Licence
* Must be eligible to work in Australia.
* Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check and serious disciplinary action declaration will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Desirable qualifications and conditions
* Possession of relevant qualifications in Administration and/or Business.
* Demonstrated experience in a comparable administrative role.
