About the role
In this role you will analyse and assess building disputes regarding defective work, make assessments regarding eligibility of insurance claims, assess licence applications in line with legislation and policy, making fair, well‑reasoned decisions that withstand scrutiny. The role relies on strong communication, accurate writing and sound decision‑making to guide homeowners and licensees through legislative requirements. With a people‑focused approach, you will attend to front counter enquiries and be responsible for effective record keeping, assisting with internal/external stakeholder events, educate stakeholders on their rights, responsibilities and emerging industry issues and build constructive relationships that support professionalism, compliance and safer construction practices.
This position is based in Maryborough, and the successful candidate will have the option to work from home for up to two days per week under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement.
