The role of the Advisor - Recruitment is to support the delivery of centralised state wide recruitment and onboarding for disability services staff working within Disability Services and Support and Forensic Disability Services.
As the Advisor, in this role you will provide advice, and deliver practical information and utilise appropriate recruitment and selection methods that include talent attraction, candidate care and assessment and utilise recruitment tools to support the recruitment and selection processes. You will also contribute knowledge and skills to assist the team to implement strategic recruitment projects.

As an Advisor - Recruitment Disability Services you will:
- Deliver contemporary culturally appropriate advice and consulting services to hiring managers and candidates relating to recruitment and selection for roles within disability services.
- Support central and local recruitment activities including screening of candidate applications, connecting and follow up with candidates and ensuring high level candidate care.
- Build professional and productive working partnerships within a portfolio of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate quality service delivery, practice and outcomes.
- Liaise with other areas (as required) to contribute to initiatives that enable the growth of a diverse and culturally capable workforce within disability services.
- Prepare reports and other correspondence related to human resource matters and issues, and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Maintain sound and current knowledge of human resource management practices, policy and procedures to ensure contemporary human resource solutions are delivered.
- Contribute to the evaluation of services and the implementation of new initiatives from the Department's strategic and operational plans to ensure continuous improvement and implementation of quality human resource management to achieve organisational strategic goals.
- Participate as part of a cohesive high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged.
