Join the Gabba Entertainment and Housing Precinct team as a Project Officer (AO5) and contribute to one of Queensland’s most transformative inner‑city renewal projects.

Using your strengths in commercial and analytical thinking, project and risk management, and stakeholder collaboration, you will support major transaction activities and assist in selecting a private sector proponent to deliver a new entertainment arena and mixed‑use precinct. You’ll help coordinate project documentation, monitor progress, identify risks, prepare high‑quality briefings and reports, and provide practical project support across governance, procurement and stakeholder engagement. This role suits someone adaptable, collaborative and motivated to deliver high‑quality outcomes that shape Brisbane’s future.

Your Opportunity
In this role, you will support a major transaction to select a preferred private sector proponent to deliver a new indoor entertainment arena and a housing led mixed use precinct. Working collaboratively with government and industry stakeholders, you'll contribute to commercial and technical workstreams and provide practical project support using established project management approaches.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex projects, values collaboration, and wants to build experience in large scale transactions and urban development.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Actively contribute to coordination of transaction activities and development of transaction documentation across commercial and technical workstreams.
• Provide project support and administration using established approaches to scheduling, governance, reporting, procurement, contract management and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues early, and provide timely feedback and advice to management.
• Prepare and contribute to sensitive, well researched and often confidential materials, including briefings, reports, board papers and submissions to support government decision making.
• Establish and maintain effective networks and build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate accountability and a commitment to continuous learning by seeking feedback and contributing positively to an inclusive, supportive team culture.
