The Corporate Services Hub is located within the Office of the Deputy Director General Corporate Division and provides professional and consistent operational HR and Finance services to Corporate Division & Enabling Solutions Group. The Hub also supports the Director-General’s office and other Office of the DG business units.

As the HR Advisor, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide specialist advice on operational human resource management matters that aligns with legislative and departmental requirements. This will extend across the full range of human resource management functions, including but not limited to:
  - Workforce and succession planning.
  - Establishment management.
  - Recruitment and selection.
  - Remuneration and conditions.
  - Employee management.
• Consult with and engage subject matter experts in relation to performance, attendance and heath management matters and provide timely advice to managers about proposed resolution strategies in consultation with the Senior HR Advisor.
• Liaise with branch managers and directors to discuss HR matters and provide guidance and support.
• Contribute to developing and implementing strategic branch-wide initiatives that support our business improvement priorities.
• Contribute to the development of partnerships and collaborative alignments with significant stakeholders internal and external to the department.

Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions:
• A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment due to access to sensitive data.
