Deputy Commissioner Operations - South

The Deputy Commissioner is a key executive leadership role within the QAS. As one of three Deputy Commissioners, the role is a critical member of the QAS Governance Committee and is accountable for ensuring the development of strategy and the implementation and oversight of key portfolio initiatives to support the Commissioner in the delivery of high quality operational frontline pre-hospital ambulance services for the Queensland community.
The role will provide a superior level of support to the Commissioner in relation to innovation, strategic direction and collaboration with a broad stakeholder group to strengthen health and ambulance services across Queensland.

Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements
- The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in paramedicine and/or a health and/or business related discipline will be highly regarded.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
Position may require participation in on-call duties.
