What you'll do

As a key leader within our Infrastructure Command, you will:

  • Lead multiple minor and complex infrastructure projects across QCS's state wide footprint
  • Partner with QBuild, Finance, Strategic Sourcing and operational teams to drive project outcomes
  • Produce high quality reporting, business cases, feasibility studies and investment analysis
  • Build capability, uplift project culture and mentor a high performing team
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, local communities and government partners
  • Ensure compliance with government frameworks, WHS, and QCS operational standards

This is a role where your leadership directly supports frontline operations and community safety.

What you bring:

We're looking for someone who can balance strategy with delivery — someone who can see the big picture while managing the detail.

You'll stand out if you have:

✔ Significant experience managing multiple Capex projects in complex organisations
✔ Strong capability in planning, scheduling, estimating and risk management
✔ Experience in infrastructure or construction, ideally in high security environments
✔ Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
✔ Strong analytical skills — forecasting, cost benefit analysis, trend identification
✔ Confidence preparing and presenting high level reports and recommendations
✔ Flexibility to travel across Queensland as required

Why join QCS?

You'll be part of a purpose driven organisation with a clear mission: supporting safer communities. You'll work with passionate professionals, lead meaningful infrastructure programs, and help shape long term investment decisions that matter.

This is your opportunity to step into a role with scale, visibility and impact.

Applications to remain current for 12 months.
