You will design, implement and maintain best-practice compliance strategies, coordinate and analyse data sets, lead internal audits, and manage our risk framework to ensure alignment with evolving standards in RTO governance and quality.

You will also support administrative processes, maintain accurate records, contribute to system management, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

A strong systems mindset and the ability to streamline processes, improve reporting, and identify efficiencies will be key to success in this role.

Equally important is your ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture. You will work across teams to foster a supportive, solutions-focused environment while maintaining high standards of accountability and professionalism.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage compliance registers, governance controls, dashboards and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Lead and enhance the organisation's risk management framework
  • Coordinate audits, certification processes, and scope changes
  • Drive continuous improvement and support best practice delivery
  • Monitor and respond to ASQA standards and regulatory changes
  • Provide advice to senior leaders on compliance and risk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, maintain, and enhance compliance documentation, data sets, registers, and dashboards
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and certification standards
  • Analyse trends and report on quality and performance metrics, including preparation of dashboards and management reports
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture

What We Offer:

  • Professional learning and development opportunities
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Modern facilities and a well-resourced workplace
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful educational outcomes for young people

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of ASQA and RTO compliance frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency with digital systems, databases, LMS platforms, and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, analyse, and present compliance data effectively
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative approach with a commitment to professionalism and quality
  • Experience in education or training (desirable)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Project management capability and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset

Submit Your Application:

  • Attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant work history)
  • A cover letter responding to the "What you'll do" and "what we're looking for" sections of the advertisement, not the generic role description.

We welcome all applicants to share any support needed to ensure our recruitment process is inclusive.

Applications remain current for 12 months from the closing date and may be considered for appointment to identical or similar vacancies within the Department.
