As Director of the Improvement stream of the Division you will utilise your strategic leadership and program management strengths to oversight and drive a diverse program of initiatives that will deliver beneficial outcomes for Queensland communities. Your experience with critical thinking, analysis and development of pragmatic reform responses will be drawn on to drive timely outcomes from a challenging work program. The position is Brisbane-based and flexible by negotiation.

Your leadership will be essential to manage an evolving work program while ensuring that resources are optimally utilised and team members maintain their passion and commitment to delivering outcomes.

• Foster project specific effective stakeholder engagement with government agencies and external stakeholders including LGAQ and peak bodies.
• Synthesize complex technical analysis into clear, actionable advice to support executive decision making.
• Create a safe workplace environment that supports wellbeing and values diversity and inclusion; and enables collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
