Senior Policy Officer

The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is an independent statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. We investigate crime and corruption, and have oversight of the public sector including police. The CCC also has responsibility for restraining and recovering suspected proceeds of crime and administers Queensland's witness protection program. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.

About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
- Ability to provide high level strategic and authoritative policy advice and solutions on complex public policy and integrity issues relevant to the CCC, informed by research and analysis of relevant qualitative and quantitative data and information.
- Ability to evaluate policy options, identify recommendations, and support the development of policies and processes that align with agency objectives, government legislation and community expectations.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, achieving outcomes, and balancing multiple tasks within tight timeframes.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships to achieve policy outcomes, including experience liaising, consulting and negotiating effectively with internal and external stakeholders on complex and sensitive issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to present complex information concisely to a variety of audiences, including preparing reports, submissions, briefing notes, presentations and policies.
