The Department of Justice is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join the Statewide Court Operations team as a Court Building Manager. This AO7 position plays a critical role in managing the operational functions of Brisbane's court precinct, which includes the QEII Supreme and District Court, Brisbane Magistrates Court, and Roma Street Arrest Courts.
As the Court Building Manager, you will lead a small team to oversee the day-to-day operations of these facilities, ensuring they are safe, accessible, and fit-for-purpose for all users. Your responsibilities will include managing infrastructure-related projects, maintenance, cleaning contracts, and security systems. You will also be responsible for financial management, including operational budgets, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, as you will collaborate with judicial stakeholders, senior management, partner agencies, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will also represent the Statewide Court Operations team in working groups, committees, and forums, providing expert advice on court facilities and infrastructure matters.
