Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of Queenslanders? As a Project Officer (AO5) with Housing and Homelessness Services, you'll have the opportunity to help shape person-centred service delivery that supports individuals and families to achieve safe, secure, and sustainable housing. Every day, your work will play a vital role in improving the well-being and self-reliance of people across our state.

In this role, you'll lead and contribute to the development of engaging communication materials, impactful stakeholder engagement, and innovative change management activities. Imagine seeing the tangible outcomes of your work in communities – facilitating meaningful connections, improving access to essential services, and empowering individuals to thrive.

Your work will focus on designing, implementing, and managing projects that deliver holistic, person-centred services. You'll collaborate with teams across the department and external stakeholders to ensure Queenslanders are connected with the support they need, recognising that successful housing is about more than just a roof over one's head.

What You'll Do
• Develop and implement projects and initiatives that support human service delivery transformation.
• Design and deliver communication materials and engage with stakeholders to drive change and innovation.
• Conduct research and analyse data to provide evidence-based advice to senior managers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across teams, departments, and external organisations.
• Contribute to high-quality documentation, including reports, plans, and presentations.
• Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and support a culture of workplace safety.

This is a temporary full-time role based in Brisbane, with the possibility of extension beyond 14 August 2026. You'll work 36.15 hours per week in a collaborative and dynamic environment, reporting to the Senior Project Officer.
