At Legal Aid Queensland, we are looking for an accomplished Principal Data Analyst to shape financial strategies, optimise operational performance, and contribute to advancing our vision of a fair and just society. About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Deep hands-on expertise across the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, with advanced technical capabilities in SQL and Microsoft Excel. Proven experience working with financial platforms (including TechnologyOne CiA) and business intelligence tools such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
  2. Strong analytical and strategic capability, with a demonstrated ability to synthesise complex data, develop accurate forecasting models, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations aligned to organisational objectives.
  3. Leadership in capability development, including providing technical coaching and mentoring, and promoting the adoption of best practices within the Business Analysis Unit.
