Project Officer

The successful applicant will assist with preparing project and budget submissions, planning and managing projects, drafting submissions and correspondence,reporting on projects and budgets, and preparing and managing contracts. Independent decision-making and initiative are essential for planning and completing tasks and achieving outcomes.
The role requires liaising with a variety of staff and stakeholders to ensure projects and work programs are delivered in line with best practices and contemporary knowledge. Occasionally, this position may support other teams in delivering projects and operational programs, including wildfire response.
