Join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist with Housing and Homelessness Services and help Queenslanders with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or ageing needs find safe, accessible, and supportive housing solutions. In this role, you'll work closely with local housing teams to provide expert assessments, recommend home modifications, and deliver tailored, trauma-informed services. You'll also collaborate with allied health professionals and other service partners to ensure our customers receive the best possible support. Whether it's designing accessible social housing, advising on tenancy management, or mentoring new staff, your expertise will help shape better outcomes for individuals and communities across Queensland.

What you'll be doing:
- Conducting occupational therapy assessments to identify housing needs and recommend modifications that enhance safety, independence, and quality of life.
- Collaborating with local teams and service partners to deliver flexible, customerfocused solutions in person, online, or via phone.
- Contributing to the design and review of accessible social housing properties.
- Providing expert advice to department staff and other agencies on housing needs for people with disabilities, long-term health conditions, or ageing requirements.
- Preparing high-quality reports and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Supporting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and workplace safety.
- Mentoring new staff and supervising students to build capacity within the team.

Mandatory requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- C Class Driver's Licence.
- Flexibility to travel within Queensland is desirable.
