Join our OIR high performing Finance, Facilities and Procurement (FFP) team to where your expertise will make real impact.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Business Finance Manager to provide financial and business support services OIR staff. You will play pivotal role in the maintenance and reconciliations of the General ledger. You will coordinate OIR FBT working papers and work closely with outsource service -providers to ensure taxation compliance.

About the role
As Senior Financial Accountant you are responsible for:
- Month-end/year end close procedures including journals, reconciliations and clearing processes.
- Preparation of FBT working schedules and liaison arrangements with outsourced taxation services provider.
- Supervision of subordinate staff within FFP team and provision of training and couching as necessary in financial operations functions.
- Preparation of technical and accounting papers for consideration within OIR and external service providers.
- Provision of financial accounting policies advice inline with the department Financial Management Practice Manual (FMPM).
- Other financial activities as requested in support to FFP and OIR business units.
