The role of the Administration Officer is to contribute to the provision of effective, high-quality stores and operational support and will perform duties across both Wacol Youth Remand Centre and the West Moreton Youth Detention Centre. The primary place of work will be the WMYDC ancillary area. The roles operate on a Monday to Friday basis, with rostered hours scheduled between 6:00am and 4:00pm.

As an Administration Officer, you will specifically:
- Provide timely, high-quality advice and support in relation to required duties associated with stores and ancillary operations, including stock management, uniform distribution and inventory control.
- Provide support and guidance in relation to stores processes, stock handling and administrative tasks to ensure effective and consistent operations.
- Provide administrative coordination and support in relation to stores and inventory management activities, including data collation, processing orders, filing, stocktakes, replenishment and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with internal and external clients and stakeholders in relation to stores inquiries, deliveries, stock availability and uniform distribution.
- Allocate, prioritise and perform tasks in accordance with relevant departmental policies and procedures, including managing the stores inbox, coordinating orders, confirming delivery quantities and maintaining storeroom organisation.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team, contributing to effective stores operations and ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the storeroom across WYRC and WMYDC.
Role specific:

These roles will support stores operations across both WYRC and WMYDC and will require flexibility to move between both centres as operational needs dictate. A current C Class Driver's Licence is essential, as the roles involve driving a work vehicle between sites.
