About the Role
As the Principal Risk & Governance Officer, you will contribute to QLeave's achievement of strategic objectives by strengthening internal controls and meeting mandatory requirements through coordinating enterprise risk management reviews. In this role, you will be a business partner to QLeave's leaders, providing specialist enterprise risk management expertise to support delivery decisions that implement QLeave's strategic objectives.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Drive the implementation of QLeave's enterprise risk management and fraud and corruption risk activities, consistent with the overarching frameworks and related policies and processes.
- Lead the coordination of the enterprise risk management reporting and continuous improvement activities in relation to QLeave's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Prepare high quality Board and Committee papers on the implementation of enterprise risk management
- Undertake reviews of processes and operational activities and complete key controls assessments to determine effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice to leaders to identify, assess and treat risks and identify emerging risks.

What We're Looking For

- Contribute to the implementation of positive enterprise risk management and performance reporting culture.
- Develop high-quality reports, board papers or similar documentation.
- Shape and sustain positive relationships with employees and facilitate effective consultation with
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of how systems, operations and processes interact to drive business outcomes.
While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, qualifications in business management and/or enterprise risk management, governance, audit or a related discipline will be of benefit and favourably regarded.
