As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in delivering projects across the Northern District by providing high-level administrative and coordination support. Working across various systems and software, you will help ensure efficient project delivery through effective scheduling, documentation management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance oversight.  

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and coordination support for a district-wide program, including organising meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, maintaining schedules, and ensuring effective information flow.  
• Manage program documentation, registers, trackers, reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office and related systems to monitor progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.  
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage enquiries, coordinate follow-ups, and ensure clear, timely communication.  
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, legislation (including WHS), and governance requirements, escalating issues where necessary.  
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment and support continuous improvement in administrative processes.  

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that deliver meaningful  outcomes for the Northern District. Success requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining effective communication. 

You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, with experience supporting program, project, or operational activities. You demonstrate strong organisational and analytical skills, maintain accurate documentation, and adapt to changing priorities while delivering high-quality work on time. You communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, identify risks, and implement or escalate mitigation actions. You thrive in collaborative environments and actively support continuous improvement.   

Mandatory Requirements:
• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks (including criminal history and discipline history)
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
