We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:

  • Demonstrated high level knowledge of and experience with database systems, including systems administration, management and maintenance, and the proven ability to provide responsive helpdesk and support services.
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to develop and implement innovative system solutions to meet client needs and organisational business objectives.
  • Demonstrated highly developed communication, consultation and negotiation skills with the proven ability to successfully build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A highly proactive and self-motivated approach to work with the proven ability to organise, plan and prioritise workloads to achieve required outcomes, meet deadlines and complete complex tasks and projects.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team and a strong commitment to the provision of high-quality client service in a dynamic environment of competing priorities and agendas.

Mandatory/Special conditions/Other requirements

The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:

  • Experience in administering complex databases and/or learning management systems is highly desirable.
