QRIDA is seeking an experienced and proven performer to provide a professional and personalised service to existing and prospective QRIDA clients in the region in relation to their applications for financial assistance; establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the region including industry, business, government, media and professional services; and undertake regional marketing and communication activities to achieve organisational outcomes and promote QRIDA and its programs with clients, stakeholders and industry.

As the Regional Area Manager, you will take ownership of client support, marketing and business development as well as in sights into the Region for which you are responsible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with client consultations relating to QRIDA's products and services and during annual loan reviews;
- Ensure target audiences are aware of scheme-related deadlines and requirements;
- Represent QRIDA at trade displays, conferences and shows, public seminars and community events;
- Prepare monthly reports outlining, achievements, regional issues and relevant economic and seasonal conditions;
- Contribute towards the effective management of the business unit's resources and information in accordance with QRIDA's governance and policy frameworks, including but not limited to risk management, work health and safety and records management;

Our Role and Purpose
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for over 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
