The position has operational responsibility to lead, coordinate, plan, deliver and report against significant and high-profile capital and maintenance projects. This role will work closely with Campus Support Servies (CSS), Queensland Health to deliver capital and maintenance projects at the Coopers Plains facility.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and co-ordinate development and delivery of significant infrastructure and maintenance projects for Forensic Science Queensland (FSQ), ensuring delivery of these services to agreed standards.
- Ensure projects are managed in accordance with FSQ's strategy, policies, systems, and procedures, and according to the Government's Capital Works and Maintenance Management Frameworks and other relevant whole-of-Government policy frameworks.
- Optimise alliances and partnerships with key internal / external stakeholders and service providers (e.g. CSS) and contribute to development and implementation of innovative strategies to meet FSQ's facilities services requirements.
- Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
- Monitor, analyse, forecast, and report on project performance to ensure FSQ meets its strategic and operational performance targets and delivers projects/initiatives as planned.
- Provide high-level advice to FSQ management and the Director of FSQ on infrastructure project planning and delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks, and emerging issues.
- Other duties as required to fulfil the objectives of the FSQ and the Department of Justice.
