An exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing individual to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Manager (Service Delivery). The Manager (Service Delivery) will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of service management and operational support functions. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and ongoing support of operational systems, contributing to improved road safety outcomes across Queensland.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Manage end-to-end delivery and support of operational systems used to operate and monitor Queensland's road corridor infrastructure.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver and support operational systems, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities and standards.
• Lead the ongoing delivery and support of operational systems and services, ensuring they meet business requirements, service levels and operational performance expectations. Manage IT service management practices across operational systems, including incident, problem, change, request, and continual improvement processes.
• Monitor service performance and trends, using data and insights to drive service improvements, reduce operational risk and improve customer outcomes.
• Ensure support arrangements, operational processes and service controls are established and maintained to enable reliable and sustainable service delivery.
• Lead service transition and operational readiness activities for new or changed systems, ensuring smooth implementation into business-as-usual support.
• Establish and maintain service management standards, processes and practices that support governance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the management of service issues, escalations, and operational risks, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements:
Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, project management, or relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or certifications other project management, intelligent transport systems, or service management.
Due to this role having access to sensitive data, the two following checks are required:
• Criminal history check, to be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• QPS security check, to be undertaken.
