The Queensland Police Service employs staff members in a wide range of roles across the state.
You will provide effective administrative support to POLAIR in matters pertaining to the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) equipment and assets. You will be responsible for the effective administration of an equipment database and be required to develop and maintain optimal vendor relationships to support these functions.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Administer internal office systems and processes, including database management, allocation and management of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and assets, monitor equipment tracking systems and regular auditing processes.
• Accountable for administrative functions associated with the acquisition, maintenance and management of RPAS equipment and services in accordance with QPS requirements, standards and procedures.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and stakeholders in relation to the procurement, management and ongoing maintenance of equipment and assets.
• Undertake regular inspections and audits in compliance with Queensland Police Service asset management policies and procedures.
• Administer the regulatory disposal and write-off of RPAS equipment.
• Production of reports, submissions and correspondence relevant to equipment management functions.
Role Requirements:
Proficiency in computer system applications and databases relating to equipment management and stores functions would be highly regarded.
Successful applicants will be required to comply with and complete all QPS, external provider and CASA requirements, including Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) testing.
Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position, they may be exposed to aviation related noise and smells due to the workplace being located at an operational aircraft hangar.
