About the Role:
As Principal Advisor Safety, Health and Wellbeing, you will lead the delivery of professional WHS, rehabilitation and wellbeing services across EDQ.
• Provide high-level strategic and technical WHS advice to leaders, managers and teams
• Support incident and hazard reporting, investigations and management of notifiable incidents
• Develop and deliver WHS strategies, education, assurance and compliance activities across EDQ
• Monitor safety trends and prepare reports, briefings and recommendations on WHS matters
• Support safe return-to-work, rehabilitation, wellbeing and psychosocial safety initiatives

About You:
You will be a confident, self-directed WHS professional who delivers practical safety, health and wellbeing outcomes.
• Formal WHS qualifications, such as Certificate IV, Diploma or relevant tertiary study, are highly regarded
• Build trusted relationships, collaborate effectively and influence positive outcomes
• Communicate clearly and navigate sensitive matters with empathy, resilience and sound judgement
• Lead initiatives, support change and manage competing priorities with professionalism
• Apply WHS legislation, codes and problem-solving to practical policies and processes
• Show curiosity and initiative to identify risks, improve processes and strengthen workplace culture
