About the Role:
The Manager, Infrastructure Investment oversees infrastructure funding programs  and agreements that help unlock development-ready land, including within Priority Development Areas, across Queensland.
• Lead infrastructure funding programs and agreements that support development-ready  land in Priority Development Areas and across Queensland.
• Manage agreements and contracts, including key terms, requirements, negotiations and delivery obligations.
• Oversee grants and loan program delivery, reporting, budgets, financial forecasting and invoice processing.
• Prepare drafts, briefing notes and advice on infrastructure matters, agreements, regulatory requirements and reforms.
• Work with government, legal, industry and other stakeholders to deliver infrastructure where and when it is needed.
• Provide general team management and leadership to support delivery priorities; travel may be required.


About You:
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated leader with strong communication, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, contract management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Qualifications in infrastructure planning, law or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
• Local government experience and infrastructure agreement experience will be highly regarded
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships.
• Experience managing grants, loan programs, contracts or infrastructure agreements will be highly regarded.
• General team management experience, with the ability to lead delivery, support others and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable, resilient and collaborative, with sound judgement and a solutions-focused  approach to complex issues.
