Multiple AO3 Service Officer vacancies are available in the Debt Management Centre (DMC) divisions of the Queensland Revenue Office.

You will engage with clients and negotiate outcomes in challenging circumstances, working in a constructive and supportive team atmosphere to deliver excellent client service.

The positions are based in our Southport or Ipswich offices with flexible work options available and access to professional growth pathways.

Your typical day as a Service Officer may include:

• Answering client phone calls and applying debt management processes and effective negotiation techniques to resolve debtor enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience and management of the debt pool
• Negotiating debt management instalment plans with debtors and Senior Leaders
• Reviewing, applying legislation, delegations and/or debt management policies
• Using our computer systems to input, manage, and/or retrieve debtor and call record data; and
• Building a positive and collaborative culture aligned to our values and objectives.  

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

• A high level of interpersonal and influential communication skills 
• Resilience, patience, persistence and the ability to remain calm in challenging negotiations
• A working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems; and
• The ability to interpret and apply legislation and/or policy or the ability to rapidly acquire this capability.
